The suggester: The Birth of Something ... is a poster *DemonGemini6 designed which is as eye-catching as it is clever. It makes a very bold statement and really grabs your attention. She has worked tremendously hard in the time I have known her to come as far as she has in her design skills, and I think her design work in particular deserves some more recognition.

This is a poster for The Taffetas, a pitch project for an online animated series
It was featured in today's Senior Soiree at the Savannah College of Art and Design campus. If the pose looks familiar, its because it is referencing Botticelli's, The Birth of Venus. I think people found it humorous, and a friend titled it "The Venus and the Angry Republican," but either way the turn out was wonderful.
The image above does not do it justice. The original printed poster was be done in a 3 layer cut out format where Veil is jumping in from the left. I attempted to recreate it ... in PS
Figures created in Ai then placed in Ps and effects added. View the pen tool paths used to make the pieces.
